Hi! I’m Amy Nievera and I write Pintucked. This blog falls under, I suppose, the lifestyle category with a good dose of fashion, shopping, and beauty. I started blogging on LiveJournal in 2001, posting about everything: life events, teenage idiocy, lovesick heartbreak. Out of embarrassment for my younger self, the blog became friends-only. Out of boredom (because my LJ friends weren’t into the same things I was), I started writing random WordPress blogs, always centering around fashion in some way.
Which brings me to Pintucked! I like pintucks and the domain wasn’t taken, so there you are. Not a very exciting story, I know. The blog started in March 2010 and is currently evolving, as I am. I hope to keep it interesting with posts about my life and clothes and outfits and makeup.
Offline, I’m 28 and a writer/assistant/community manager. My whole day is spent in front of a computer; some people think I’m crazy to go home and spend another four, five hours in front of my laptop. But the Internet is so much fun! I love the community; and, truthfully, this is an easy way to get around my shyness and social anxiety.
